Dear Senator Cornyn,
Thank you so much for your reply. I share the same sentiments as Sean Stone and salute his courage. He is a child of God, he seeks the truth and he will get it because the silent majority will slowly muster the courage to follow his footsteps to stop the bombing of Tehran. Stone on O’Reilly show also predicted that an Occupy Tehran movement akin to Occupy Wall Street is on its way, and he suggested that President Jimmy Carter be enlisted to help solve the problems in Middle East. I hope Hollywood and your good self would also support this cause for a better and brighter world.
America must not rush into any military decision like what they had done in Iraq because regret will be too late. George Bush Jr was tricked by the ‘Jewish Hawks’ who had told him that Iraq got Weapons of Mass Destruction and he went in without thinking of the consequences. The end result as we all had witnessed was a total disaster and especially for America!! The experience in Iraq had shown to the Americans that they need to have a rational mind. “As if that were not bad enough, members of Congress are reluctant to ask questions which are begging to be asked. How long will we occupy Iraq? We have already heard disputes on the numbers of troops, which will be needed to retain order. What is the truth? How costly will the occupation and rebuilding be? No one has given a straight answer. How will we afford this long-term massive commitment, fight terrorism at home, address a serious crisis in domestic healthcare, afford behemoth military spending and give away billions in tax cuts amidst a deficit, which has climbed to over $340 billion for this year alone? If the President’s tax cut passes it will be $400 billion. We cower in the shadows while false statements proliferate. We accept soft answers and shaky explanations because to demand the truth is hard, or unpopular, or may be politically costly.
But, I contend that, through it all, the people know.
The American people unfortunately are used to political shading, spin, and the usual chicanery they hear from public officials. They patiently tolerate it up to a point. But there is a line. It may seem to be drawn in invisible ink for a time, but eventually it will appear in dark colors, tinged with anger.
When it comes to shedding American blood – – when it comes to wrecking havoc on civilians, on innocent men, women, and children, callous dissembling is not acceptable. Nothing is worth that kind of lie – – not oil, not revenge, not re-election, not somebody’s grand pipedream of a democratic domino theory.
And mark my words, the calculated intimidation, which we see so often of late by the “powers that be” will only keep the loyal opposition quiet for just so long.
Because eventually, like it always does, the truth will emerge. And when it does, this house of cards, built of deceit, will fall.”
How high the cost America got to pay but on the other hand Israel came out without a scratch because they achieved their goal to get others to do their dirty work to bomb Iraq and one more less threat for them. Now they want history to repeat again because this time Iran is the threat. If you look at the Iraq war it looked kind of silly for America because the rest of the world are doing so well financially while you were and still are trying to keep the world safe and meanwhile America is going downhill besides so many deaths of young soldiers. Ask yourself IS IT WORTH IT? If America is to go down it should go down on its own term but not again to let others pull America down due to their insecurity and fear.
In an interview on CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS, this was what Mr Brzezinski said, “We don’t need to go to war and we have to make that very clear to our Israeli friends. We’re not going to go to war. They’re not going to go to war by flying over our airspace over Iraq. We’re not going to support them. If they do it, they will be on their own. The consequences will be theirs, because the price we’ll all pay if they start a massive war, which the Iranians interpret as being done with our connivance, will be disastrous for us in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in the terms of oil, stability in the Middle East more generally.”
The Israelis and Palestinians is the root cause to this world problem, thus the world would need to fix this problem first before the rest can be resolved. As long as America and the world delay the act of helping the Palestinian people to have a homeland, the world will not have peace, harmony and unity. Senator Klobuchar said, “Compelling Iran to abandon its support for terrorism, promote the rights of its citizens, and terminate its nuclear enrichment program is critical to meeting the goal of long-term stability in the Middle East and around the world.” I don’t think this is the way the world sees it because as long as the Palestinian people still do not have a homeland, the prospects of long term stability in Middle East and around the world will remain bleak.

Thank you for contacting me about the United States’ policy toward Iran. I appreciate having the benefit of your views on this matter.
I share your concern that Iran represents a growing threat to the United States and the international community. The Iranian regime’s drive to acquire nuclear weapons is a grave concern, as it continues to pose a tremendous risk to our national security. The United States must not allow President Ahmadinejad to hold the world hostage in this way. Furthermore, Ahmadinejad’s public calls for the destruction of Israel—our friend and ally—are reprehensible. Through this rhetoric and other actions, Iran continues to promote instability in the Middle East. Additionally, Iran’s lack of regard for human rights and its draconian constraints on free expression—in particular its harsh repression of ethnic and religious minorities—have drawn criticism not only from the United States but also the United Nations.
Yet, in spite of the regime’s oppressive rule, the world has seen throngs of brave Iranians take to the streets in recent years, risking their lives to resist the radical, abusive, and totalitarian regime that rules their nation. The people of Iran are hungry for freedom, and America has a duty to stand behind them and support their cause. During the 111th Congress I was proud to introduce the Iran Democratic Transition Act (S. 3008). This legislation would have established a program of direct assistance for Iranian resistance groups and helped pave the way for freedom and democracy in Iran by fully and publicly supporting the peaceful efforts of the Iranian people to oppose and remove the current regime and transition to a freely elected, open, and democratic government. Additionally, S. 3008 would have authorized non-military assistance for Iranian democratic opposition organizations, as well as humanitarian assistance for victims of the current regime.
In the 112th Congress, I cosponsored Senate Bill 1048 (S. 1048), which would further expand sanctions against Iran, particularly for human rights abuses, and against the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. I am also proud to have cosponsored Senate Amendment 1414 to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 (P.L. 112—81), which passed the Senate by a vote of 100—0 on December 1, 2011, and was signed into law by President Obama on December 31, 2011. This important legislation requires sanctions on financial institutions that conduct business with the Central Bank of Iran, an entity that finances the government of Iran’s pursuit of nuclear weapons. I am hopeful that President Obama will properly utilize all sanction authorities granted to him by Congress. Furthermore, I am also proud to cosponsor Senate Resolution 380 (S.Res. 380), which would express the sense of the Senate that it is a vital U.S. interest to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and that any U.S. policy seeking to merely contain a nuclear Iran should be rejected.
The Iranian regime’s pursuit of nuclear weapons, continued support for terrorism, repression of the Middle East peace process, and dismal human rights record are unacceptable. The United States must continue to send a clear message to Iran’s leaders that actions that threaten peace and security in the Middle East and around the world will not be tolerated. Furthermore, we will not stand idly by while Iran abuses its own people. You may be certain that I will continue to advocate policies and legislation to help ensure our national security in the face of this growing threat.

Dear Senator John Cornyn,
May I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. With your support and that of your fellow senators, may the New Year bring great hope and joy to the Palestinian people and the realization of their wish of a homeland in Palestine.
You said, “In a region characterized by instability and violence, Israel stands alone in its commitment to democracy, individual liberty, and free-market principles. The strong cultural, religious, and political ties shared by the United States and Israel help form a bond between our countries that should never be broken.”
Please give me a very good reason why it should not be broken when this so-called ‘bond’ could possibly bring the whole world down, especially when the American government could possibly be tricked again by the Jewish ‘hawks’to bomb Iran? Remember after the Iraq war how much hate from the world was directed at America? Your reply to me feels so “political” because your role is to play it very safe and be so non-descript on the breadth of the Palestinians’ suffering. How can you choose to be blinded to the misery of the Palestinians imposed in broad daylight by the Jews?
Where is the Respect for human dignity? What about what the Jews/Israelis are doing to the Palestinians? What about the blockade in Gaza? What about boarding a peaceful Turkish ship and killing people on board? Where are the basic human rights in Gaza? In the Gaza Strip, one and a half million people live virtually under siege, behind barbed wire, and without a chance to escape this prison camp. The living conditions are unbearable due to a severe shortage of food, medicine, clean water, with a strictly limited power supply and worsening hygienic conditions. Despite this situation the blockade of the Gaza Strip has been tightened and the Israeli Army launches military actions and bombardments on an almost daily basis. The civilians are the ones who have to suffer.
This was what an America friend of mine said, “I am amazed at the prejudiced views held by our politicians ignoring everything the Jews and Israelis do that is immoral and criminal while condemning all the Palestinians as terrorists attacking Israel! No wonder you get frustrated, Sunflower!”
Because of this petition, two of my friends from America got their whole head shaving creamed by 7 fierce Jewish women opposing the petition. They were told that if they didn’t stop promoting the petition, worse would happen to them and the Jewish women threatened to shave one lady’s head bald. These types of humiliation tactics and intimidation are an example of why I am promoting a fairer view for the Palestinians and a more realistic view of the bullying tactics of the Jews. Besides this, I got a reply from one person that said the petition letter that I sent out was disgusting. Passionate individuals who were concerned for the Palestinian people’s destiny came together at the Charlie Rose website to pour out their feelings without reservation, and I would like to share those conversations with you in the hope that you can do more for the Palestinians and not just for the Jews. Balance and fairness are keys to success in handling these complex problems between the Israelis and Palestinians.

We’ve ALSO heard all this many times before. He blames everything on the Palestinians. But the Zionists were the invaders and are still on the OT’s “priestly” mission to recover the “Holy Land.” Palestinian statehood should not involve a peace agreement in any way whatsoever. Israel has been holding those people hostages for 60+ years, trying to extort “peace.” He wants the Arabs gone or at least helpless, on a reservation like the Indians. He wants racial and spiritual purity. Where have we heard that before? Yet it is commonly heard from Jews in this country, since they can get away with it here. Still THEY think the Arabs are the fundamentalists, the great unwashed, and the inassimilable. He believes Jordan and Lebanon should stop complaining and absorb their brethren as if THEY had not been the ones booted out of their homes. Whenever I hear this kind of whining and weaselling I understand why Jews have been derided for centuries and begin to wish Germany had never invaded the Soviets. It has nothing to do with prejudice, or with “anti-Semitism.” Certainly not mine. Real Christians should be outraged. “I want peace.” That’s a laugh. Peace will never happen his way. After all he wants us to invade Iran as he did Iraq and as the British inveigled America into doing in WWI and WWII, because they are “Islamo-fascists.” He wants poor patriotic Americans sent off to preserve the kind of civilization we’ve just been through a decade of. I trust this nation will never again be that naive. BTW, what had happened ON the Turkish vessel is irrelevant; the fact is the Israelis boarded it thus instigating the incident?
