When Henry Kissinger went to China in 1976, my uneducated mother who was born in Canton and with only 3 years education said, “You think the Chinese will be so stupid as to let you swallow them like Indonesia? Don’t forget the Chinese have got 5000 years of history and learning experience so they will surpass the West!” And she continued, “Have you not heard of ‘lun lau jin?” Literally translated, it means ‘the wheel will turn from the west to the east’. I am not sure whether this is a Chinese saying but I have heard it spoken so often by the old folks and who still hold a great pride for China, even though China was very backwards then.
I asked my mother what if the Chinese surpassed the west and without hesitation she said, “America will bomb China…look what the British did to China during the OPIUM WARS just to force China to open up!”
I SALUTE MY MOTHER, MS LIM SOON HING. SHE IS 91 YEARS OLD NOW AND STILL BRIGHT AND ALERT BECAUSE SHE IS STILL INTERESTED IN POLITICS. SHE DOES NOT LIKE THE UNITED STATES BECAUSE SHE SAYS THAT AMERICA IS A HYPOCRITE WHO CAME TO THE EAST UNDER THE DISGUISE OF DEMOCRACY AND FREE TRADE. IN FACT, THEY TOOK OUR NATURAL RESOURCES AND OUR HUMAN WEALTH TO MAKE ALL OF US THEIR MODERN SLAVES SO THAT THEY CAN CONTROL US!
OUR LEADERS HAVE NOT NURTURED OUR LOCAL TALENTS BECAUSE THE LEADERS OF THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES NEVER THINK THEIR PEOPLE CAN EXCEL. HENCE WE ARE ALWAYS IN SURVIVAL MODE WHICH IS TO SERVE THE MNC’s. DON’T BLAME THE WEST BECAUSE ALL OF OUR LEADERS HAVE BEEN BRAIN WASHED BY THEM AND IN A COWARDLY QUEST FOR SURVIVAL, THEY JUST TOOK THE EASY WAY OUT AND THAT IS TO SERVE THE BIG CORPORATIONS AND WHEN THEY TELL US TO WALK LEFT WE MUST DO SO…..
